Westra and Bianchi took the lead at Tour of Denmark

Dutchman won the stage-5 on Pico Crono Carbon on August 25th
Vacansoleil-DCM's Lieuwe Westra on Bianchi Pico Crono Carbon called the shot at Post Danmark Rundt's fifth stage. Dutch ITT champion won the Individual Time Trial in Karteminde, clinching the first position in the GC with one stage to go

Vacansoleil-DCM's Lieuwe Westra on Bianchi Pico Crono Carbon (D|2 family) clinched victory at Post Danmark Rundt - Tour of Denmark 2012’s stage-5, a 14.5-km ITT in Karteminde’s nearby. Dutch rider covered the course in 16 minutes and 36 seconds, preceding Geraint Thomas (+ 0:19) and Manuele Boaro (+ 0:22).

Thanks to this victory Westra took the race’s leadership with one stage to go, with a 10-second advantage on Ramunas Navardauskas and 14 seconds on Boaro. Swedish Gustav Larsson is eleventh (+ 0:47).
