Excellent display for
Colombia Coldeportes’ stagiaire
Duber Quintero in the third stage of the
Tour of Portugal, Vila Nova Cerveira-Fafe of 178 km: the 1990-born youngster took his
Bianchi Sempre to third place on the day, a mere 4 seconds away of stage winner
Cesar Fonte (Efapel-Glassdrive) and Bruno Saraiva (Selecion Portugueisa).
In his very first professional race, gutty Quintero managed to provide a strong performance despite showing up in the break with his Bianchi Sempre for the second day in a row. It is the first top-5 placement in Portugal for Colombia Coldeportes, that will
look for more success tomorrow in the first uphill finish to Mondim de Basto.
