Van Hummel on the podium in Belgium, Chiarini in Italy

Dutch rider placed second, Italian was third on Bianchi Oltre
Vacansoleil-DCM's Van Hummel went close to the second victory in a row at 22nd Memorial Rik Van Steenbergen, in Belgium. Chiarini (Androni Giocattoli) clinched third at Giro di Padania's stage-3, 229 km from Castelfranco Veneto to Merate

Vacansoleil-DCM’s Kenny Robert Van Hummel placed second on Bianchi Oltre at 22nd Memorial Rik Van Steenbergen in Belgium, on Wednesday, September 5th. Winner of 2011 edition, Dutch rider was outsprinted by his countryman Theo Bos.

Androni Giocattoli’s Riccardo Chiarini took third at Giro di Padania’s stage-3, 229 km from Castelfranco Veneto to Merate (Italy). Thanks to this result, Italian rider on Bianchi Oltre went up to the second position in the GC.
