Bianchi will provide
Androni Giocattoli's
Josè Rujano with a special
Oltre frame featuring unique graphics on Giro d'Italia's stage-7 (
205
km from
Recanati to
Rocca di Cambio) on Saturday
May 12th.
Characterized by an exclusive black mat color (reducing frame’s weight by 70 grams), the frame displays the traditional "celeste" Bianchi logo on the down tube and a red insert on the seat tube, including also pink touches linked to the color of the Giro d'Italia.
Rujano's Bianchi Oltre shows a special logo on the headtube to celebrate Fausto Coppi's twice victory at both Giro d'Italia and Tour de France in 1952, 60 years ago. Only a few riders took such an incredible achievement in the cycling history and Bianchi is
proud to celebrate it during this year's Giro.
"I'm really proud to run on this bike, which is extremely light and reactive. It is the perfect bike for me to climb the toughest mountains. I want to bring it to the top both in the single stages and in the Giro's final classification", commented Rujano.
Featuring
X-TEX,
Carbon Nano Tech,
Carbon Nano Tube Tech,
WMP and
UTTS technologies, Oltre is the top model of Bianchi
Road
range and it is considered one of the best racing bikes ever made by the Italian company. Oltre is a super high performance and extreme racing carbon bike, feather-light in the mountains, tight on the turns and stiff in the sprints. X-Tex carbon technology
and frame’s aerodynamic shape give it an incredibly efficient power transmission and stiffness to weight ratio.
